 RICE

Rice is the main food in Sri  Lanka. In Sri Lanka, it is grown  in Kurunagala , Anuradhapura , Polonnaruwa etc.Carbohydrates , fat , dietary, fiber,vitemin B are  present in abundance in rice. The wholesome rice is made into string hoppers, pittu,rottie, etc .It growsbestin an enviourment about 1900mm rainfalls, annual temprate 21c to 32c and soil of PH range of 5.0- 8.0.
